Broken Sound Club member Jerry wanted to plan a fabulous birthday celebration unlike anything else done before. He also chose a unique, once in a decade date: November 11, 2011 (11.11.11). Jerry left it to the Broken Sound creative theme to find a fun theme, and design an event for approximately 175 friends and family members.
Broken Sound’s creative team wanted to tap into Jerry’s playful demeanor while still keeping a dignified, elegant tone to the event. We chose a Playboy theme, cheeky enough to get a good laugh, but deviated from the classic black and pink look to derail all expectations. Jerry’s party was the first major function to take place in the Club’s newly built wing, that accommodates the Card Rooms, and doubles as meetings and event space. A leopard print was chosen and added gold elements to match venue decor. Over the Top provided antique gold lamour linens, napkins and chair cushions, and a leopard print fur overlay that was exciting to touch. Xquisite Events created centerpieces that incorporated candlelight and did not use any flowers. The extralarge martini glasses were decorated with bunny ears and leopard print boas as well as floating candles.
The menu included a Lobster Tail Appetizer, a choice of entree of Filet Mignon and Sea Bass, as well as a decadent Dessert Duo. No detail went unnoticed by the guests. Everyone raved about the individual bunny shaped soaps in the restrooms, the bunny shaped napkin fold, the exquisite lighting, or the personalized brandy snifter party favors.
All-in-all, November 11th, 2011 was made memorable by Jerry’s extravagant party, that Jason from NeoArt Photography so wonderfully captured.
