“Chinchilla Plush”
Every event planner’s goal for their current project is to be different than any and all previously planned or attended parties. But the desire to design a luxurious table setting is constant. That never changes no matter what the theme is.
For a design meant to encapsulate pomp and wealth with a modern twist, we chose the placement of the table in front of the fireplace of the Fireside Room, and covered it with a Faux Chinchilla Cloth, which added the table volume. The old-world feel of the cloth was paired with aubergine water glasses. The plum satin undercloth and napkins further warmed the color palette. In contrast, the modern touches of the sharp purple charger plate, crisp place cards, white chiavari chairs and the angular centerpiece added a feel of modern elegance. The floral arrangement was comprised of a rectangular glass vase set on top of a mirror box and surrounded with votive candles. Emerged in the vase were white cymbidium orchids, while the white lampshade provided the finished touch. This tablescape truly embodies 21st century luxury!
